| I am looking at a 95 jeep Cherokee sport and the towing capacity on one of those is rated at 5000# with a class three hitch. It sounds like these can pull pretty good but they aren't ideal. Can someone tell me the total weight of the boat+trailer of a 2001? I'm guessing close to 3500 for the boat and 1000 for the trailer. Am I close? |

| I found the weights in a 91 owners manual. Boat + Trailer + gas is roughly 3600#. |

| the cherokee willl do fine. i have a 97 wrangler SE pulls fine i think the cherokee has a higher tow capacity then the wrangler and yes arou 3200 pounds is correct |
