Nicely done! As soon as I finish the workshop, I'll get back on mine... I'll be using a few of those newer nautique pieces too |

answer to the first question, this boat has been in California. not the Nebraska boat that is for sale.
the rope idea i got off of this site. i ordered 50 ft of three strand 1/2 inch rope from Jamestown boat supplies. the only thing i can say is that you really have to like the look because it took me and my son 3 1/2 hours to pry the rub rail open inch by inch |

| thanks i think my friends are getting sick of hearing about the boat LOL the gel coat was pretty easy. i took off all of the stickers by heating them up with a heat gun then i removed any sticker gum with acetone. then i used a one stage polish. both the polish and the polisher were about 30$ each. very little wet sanding (a few scratches). and the boat looked pretty horrible after i pulled the stickers off. |

That boat looks familiar? Congrats Qfish and I hope your first pull was worth it ! I'm sure it was, I need to get a pic of both boats side by side old and new. Everybody on here would tar and feather me for selling that and getting a Moomba probably but I got no regrets. Besides I know where I can ride it whenever I want...lol
Boat looks GREAT ! You did her justice ! |

Good lookin ride. That gel looks incredible, makes me want to break out the polisher on mine again.
On the rub rail rope install...3.5hrs Took about 30 minutes to do mine using the copper pipe trick. Hey, at least it was quality time spent with your boy! |

| Where did you get the new blower cover for the rear vent? it is slick looking. I think I might get one. Do you know where to find it? |
