Did you surf that without the handle? Looks like you need a bit more of a curly wake but I might be mistaken!
Also, you might want to consider getting a surf rope. |

| Do you guys think there is a threat to being at the max or exceeding the max capacity with the ballast? What happens if the boat takes on a huge wave or whatever. Can these 2001's get swamped with all this ballast?? |

YES THEY CAN MY FRIEND! Its all about the driver. If you're surfing and you see anyyyy waves coming at your nose when your boat is at idle and going to pick up a down rider you better bump that throttle to get the nose up over the wake or you are guaranteed to be wet inside.
Also when your rider falls, unless there is an URGENT need to get back to the rider continue straight and slow the boat down to neutral and let your own surf wake dissipate away from you then kick the boat in reverse and do a little 3 point turn action and go straight back to the rider in the path that you just came down. Once you get some practice you can watch the rider in your mirror and anticipate when he's about to fall and the distance between you and your fallen rider should be pretty small.
Ive run my boat with about 850lbs of ballast on the one side and then like 350 in the rear and a few people on board. Its sketchy but if your driver is smart and you have a reasonably calm lake you should be alright! |

| What kind of board is everyone using. I barrowed a friend hyperlite broadcast 5' 6" but think I would out grow that board to fast. I have been looking and I like the cwb razr and cwb Tsunami. Are these good boards? Also like the Inland Surfer blue but a little to pricey. |

| I have been lookin some at the 4'9" broadcast also, which I think you would be able to do a lot more on it than the 5'6" broadcast. |

I just picked up a wakesurf of my buddy for $100. Have a rope on order so it should be for next week end, when I load my SN2001 up with weight and try it out.
Its not going to happen with a SN2001 WITHOUT any sacks. I have 4 people on the boat and I still need more weight! I guess I'll have to get sacked out. |

Its all about the fat sacs.
Its hard to see the 3 sacs in the picture I took but theres the one sac in the rear thats about 500 and then theres two stacked on top of eachother on the left side of the motor box. The bottom one is full to about 500lbs and the second one is maybe 250-300lbs.
Check out my diagram. This is the best set up we have had yet. Not included in my diagram is all the stereo stuff I have in the bow plus batteries. Prob 250lbs in the nose |

| The hat and glasses is off the hook while you are surfing. How about a beer in your hand too? You can't even walk around on that boat its so sacked out! |

| I think I might have posted it before in this thread, but I use 2 540's and 3 persons (minimum) for surfing. Can't imagine it's possible without any sacs. |
